My First Day...

I am not going to lie, my first day I was pretty nervous.

I soon came to find out, there was nothing to be nervous about. After a decent drive from Hilliard to Grove City, I had finally made it to Richard Avenue Elementary. I checked myself in in the office. The ladies in the office were very nice and comforting when I explained why I was there. (This made me feel better about the whole thing) They sent me down a long hallway to Miss Loless' room, the room where I would get to meet my new friends for the next good amount days. I open the door..step one foot in , then the next. I look up to see a bunch of confused faces, what else would i expect though? It atually made me smile. Miss Loless then introduced me to the class as Miss Kennedy. I explained to the second graders why I was there and how long I would be there and all. The kids loved it, I got a lot of " My brother is in high school too!" or "Are you going to college?". I enojyed answering all of their questions, and just like they all wanted to get to know me , I was excited to finally get to know them as well.
